ConnectFood.com offers expert services made available by our partner network in addition to the software.  The available services cover many of the aspects important to a wholesome food safety program.

How to View Expert Service List in ConnectFood

1. Log in to your ConnectFood account.

2. Click on the "Expert Services" tab to view the list of services.  


3. Request a Quote at no cost by clicking "Request a Quote" under any of the services.  Once, the bids from partners are received in the next 48-72 hours, select the bid that matches your price point.  Here's an article on how to place an order.

AUDIT PREPARATION

Prepare for an audit. Includes such items as: checklists, organization of documents, and more.


EXPERT PLAN REVIEW

A review of your HACCP or Preventive Controls plan once written in ConnectFood's Plan Generator, for non-acidified foods, includes the total review of a facility’s GMP survey, identify hazards, source, and controls.  If you need a lot of help writing the plan, please see the "Help Write Plan" Service.    


GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES REVIEW

An expert review of a facility’s GMPs via the ConnectFood survey - known as the FDA Code of Federal Regulations 117 Subpart B.


EXPERT HELP TO WRITE PLANS

Experts help write the food safety plans for your organization in ConnectFood’s food safety plan generator.  If your plan is mostly done and are looking for a review from an expert to ensure the plan is compliance, please see the "Expert Plan Review" service. 


IMPLEMENTATION RECORD REVIEW

A review of records, such as: monitoring, corrective actions, verification records, supply-chain, and training records.


HELP WRITE RECALL PLAN

The expert will help write a recall plan to to assist an organization interact with the public, state recall coordinator, and federal recall coordinator during a product recall.


PROCESS AUTHORITY LETTER

Request a process authority letter from a certified process authority. This person has expert knowledge of thermal processing requirements for low-acid foods packaged in hermetically sealed containers.


STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPs)-DEVELOPMENT OR REVIEW

Expert services to assist companies develop or review SOPs and/or Sanitation SOPs.


VERIFICATION LAB TEST

Request a lab test to ensure or identify various properties of your food product (e.g. water activity, pH level, etc.). All ConnectFood laboratory partners are accredited & certified to ISO/IEC 17025:2005


VALIDATION 

Obtaining and evaluating and technical evidence that a control measure, combination of control measures, or the food safety plan as a whole, when properly implemented, is capable of effectively controlling the identified hazards.” – 21 CFR 117.3.  In short, validation establishes the scientific basis for process preventive controls in the food safety plan by a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).
