With the addition of the process flow chart feature, you can now create parallel flow charts.  Below is a video that demonstrates how to modify an existing linear process flow to a parallel one.

Here are the steps outlined in the video:

  1. Delete the link connecting the 1st "Receiving shelf stable ingredients" step to the 2nd step.
  2. Drag the 2nd "Receiving shelf stable ingredients" step to the top right of the chart.
  3. Drag the 3rd process step, "Raw peanut storage" under "Receiving shelf stable ingredients" on the right side.
  4. Drag the 4th process step "Non-peanut ingredient storage" up under the 1st process step.
  5. Draw a line from "Receiving shelf stable ingredients" to "Non-peanut ingredient storage".
  6. Draw a line from the "Receiving shelf stable ingredients" on the right side of the chart to "Raw peanut storage".
  7. Draw a line from "Raw peanut storage" to "Mixing all ingredients".
  8. Use the "auto arrange" feature to optimize the layout.  Note: you can always make manual adjustments after the steps have been automatically arranged.
